Stop N Ship ("we", "us", "our") operates stopnship.ca and the associated shipping label platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from agents and visitors, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text) when you create an account.

Shipping information: sender and recipient names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and parcel details you enter when generating a shipping label.

Payment & balance activity: a record of balance top-ups, label purchases, and withdrawal requests associated with your account. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.

Usage data: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the platform secure and working correctly.

• To create and maintain your account, and verify your identity via email OTP at signup.
• To generate shipping rates and labels through our carrier partners.
• To calculate and display pricing, margin, tax, and profit associated with your account.
• To send transactional emails (verification codes, account and label notifications).
• To respond to support requests submitted through our Contact page.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or misuse of the platform.

To generate shipping rates and labels, sender and recipient details you provide are shared with our shipping API provider (Shippo) and, through them, the carrier you select (e.g. Canada Post, USPS, UPS) — this is required to produce a valid shipping label and tracking number.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Stop N Ship, our users, or others.

We retain account and shipment records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, to meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations and to resolve any disputes.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@stopnship.ca. Some information may need to be retained where required by law (for example, financial transaction records).

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We use industry-standard measures — including password hashing and encrypted database connections — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are intended for business use by individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
